DEABRU [SWT016] es el nuevo EP de Mark Luva en SWEAT, tras dos años de su anterior trabajo: Pæ-lim(p)-sest [SWT008].

En Deabru (Diablo en Euskera), el productor trata de empujar aún más allá los límites de su sonido. Olvidándose del club como prioridad y sintetizando sus obsesiones de los últimos años.

Paisajes industriales, remanentes de metal extremo y ejercicios de collage sonoro y composición minimalista a lo Steve Reich se dan la mano en Hasierarantz (Hacia el principio) y Amaieratik (Desde el Final). Dos caras de un mismo tema, de una eterna búsqueda de un sonido desafiante para el productor vasco. Sin importar los géneros.

Un ejercicio sonoro que cuenta con los remixes de Hasierarantz de los afiliados de SWEAT @diegovnavarro y YDVST, junto a @yegua999, artista afincado en Londres. Remixes de un tensión irresoluble, atmósferas oscuras y cinemáticas; en los cuales cada artista reconfigura los trazos del tema original bajo su propio lenguaje.

DEABRU [SWT016] is the new EP of Mark Luva under the SWEAT imprint, two years after his previous work: Pæ-lim(p)-sest [SWT008]. In Deabru (Devil in Basque language), the producer tries to push forward his own sound’s boundaries. Club functionality is no longer a priority, instead, Mark Luva synthesizes his latest musical obsessions.

Industrial landscapes, extreme metal remnants, sound collage and Steve Reich-esque minimalist arrengements come together in Hasierarantz (Towards the beginning) and Amaieratik (From The End). Two sides of the same track, constantly searching for a challenging sound. No matter what genre it is.

A sound exercise that counts on Hasierarantz remixes of SWEAT affiliates Diego Navarro and YDVST, alongside London based artist Yegua. Unsolvable tension, dark and cinematic atmospheres fill these remixes, in which each artist reconfigures original track’s path under their own language.
