"175 millions of years ago a meteor full of life fell into the depths of Earth's primal ocean.

Years later, the last remnants of an advanced alien life woke up from their long slumber as fragile bodies of light. They
began a parasytic relationship with the indigenous underwater species around them.

Soon came the need for expansion, colossal green islands giving shelter to gargantuan lizards acted like a magnet for the frail creatures. They saw powerful bodies, a new habitat.

Here began a massive genetic invasion that changed the natural world forever. The fearsome creatures that roamed the land and ruled the animal kingdom were about to transform into something else.

They were about to become..."

Diego Navarro returns to SWEAT with VESSELS [SWT015], a release that represents the first LP in label’s history.

An adaptational and transcendental music trip that not only describes an artistic meaning, but also the creative process of Vessels. What started as a live audiovisual experience (in collaboration with artist Dario Alva aka Cavecanems), has transmuted in an album where Diego goes even further into the wild depths of sound design.

Creating in this way a series of sonic landscapes whose influences range from videogame scores to contemporary electronic music, while at the same time maintaining a personal language.

From the depths of the primal ocean to the lush Jurassic forests, this modern force of nature will end the placid reign of the "terrible lizards". They are now Vessels [SWT015], reconfiguring their ecosystem, changing the course of evolution towards the unknown.

You, the listener, will be part of that change.

"175 millones de años atrás, un meteorito lleno de vida durmiente cayó en las profundidades del océano primigenio de la Tierra.

Años después, los últimos especímenes de una avanzada forma de vida alienígena despertaron de su largo sueño como frágiles cuerpos luminosos. Pronto, comenzaron una relación parasitaria con las especies indígenas subacuáticas que les rodeaban.

Rápidamente llegó la necesidad de expansión, colosales islas verdes que daban refugio a lagartos gigantescos se convirtieron en imanes para estas frágiles criaturas. Cuerpos poderosos, un nuevo hábitat.

Aquí empezó una masiva invasión genética que cambió para siempre el orden natural. Las aterradoras criaturas que vagaban por la tierra y dominaban el reino animal estaban a punto de convertirse en...

Diego Navarro regresa a SWEAT con VESSELS [SWT015] una release que supone la primera referencia en largo del sello.

Un viaje de trascendencia y adaptación que no solamente describe el discurso artístico de Vessels, sino su propio proceso creativo. Lo que comenzó como una experiencia audiovisual en directo, junto al artista Darío Alva (Cavecanems), se ha transmutado en un disco en el que Diego Navarro se adentra aún más profundamente en las junglas del sound design más arriesgado, territorios colindantes con la composición para videojuegos y las corrientes actuales de electrónica experimental desde una mirada propia y particular.

Desde las profundidades del océano primigenio a la frondosidad de los paisajes jurásicos, esta nueva fuerza de la naturaleza acabará con el plácido reinado de los “lagartos terribles”. Convertidos ahora en Vessels [SWT015], alterando y reconfigurando irreversiblemente su ecosistema. Desplazándolo hacia terrenos desconocidos y desafiantes para todos sus organismos.
